  I go inside to pay anyway and the owner comes out, calls me arrogant (???) and tells me he doesn't want "my kind" in here. Proceeds to ask if I'm Italian (???) and to call himself an artist (???) and to say that if I don't like his food I can "f**king leave" (???). Oh, and this was in front of my wife and 2 young kids.

  Wife ordered the Spaghetti carbonara and smoked salmon (odd combination, but why not?). Couldn't eat it, way too much pepper and lemon. I tasted it, couldn't handle more than one bite myself (and I'll eat anything). Spoke to the waiter (politely) who said he could certainly provide something else but would still charge us for the spaghetti. No attempt to suggest anything else, no help, just attitude and a snide, "do you know how much of this we serve?" Having tasted it, I can only imagine...

  I calmly say there's no need to get upset and that I just want to pay for the dishes we ordered. Again, I'm told to "get the f**k out". I offer a third time. Same response. So I leave.

  Service après-vente inexistant. Aucune considération pour le client ou le produit vendu. Refus d'échanger une paire de lunettes défectueuse. Je ne demandais pas un remboursement mais un échange... Le proprio me dit que des lunettes, c'est comme des bobettes... pas échangeable! Il vient de perdre un client, c'est sûr.

  When I went to pay, the waiter said, "Don't worry about it. It's taken care of". I didn't understand; if they're willing to comp the whole meal, why not first offer another dish instead? Obviously i would have paid for it - plus, no hangry wife. Weird.
