  Our car broke down while we were on our way home on the holiday Monday of the long weekend. I was reluctant to go to Canadian Tire based on previous bad experiences in their Ottawa store, but we were in a pinch.

  Car broke down on a Friday night and had to tow it there since it's the only mechanic available the weekend in the region. They fixed the car (ignition coil problem) and were very professional, would recommend.

  Not only were they open on a statutory holiday, they kindly agreed to look after our car right away since they could see we we're stuck far from home. These mechanics were comforting, professional, competent and honest. The charge for their work was surprisingly inexpensive, and I was incredibly relieved that they could fix my minivan right away.
